Ocean Master Sportfishing Boats
Ocean
Master builds center console, express and cuddy / walkaround
sportfishing boats ranging in size from 18 to 34 feet. The
current model line includes 18, 27, 31, 33 and 34-foot
sportfishing boats. Ocean Master boats are designed to
handle to rigors of serious offshore and nearshore fishing.
As a Florida boat builder and manufacturer, we have a 30
year track record of building serious fishing machines for
hardcore anglers.
Power
options include 2-stroke direct injection / 4-stroke
outboards along with diesel inboard and diesel I/O
sterndrive configurations. Buyers can choose from either
single or twin engine power on their Ocean Master boats.
Single and twin-engine options are available on both center
console and express boat configurations – both outboard and
diesel powered. We also offer a number of stern layouts
including traditional notched transoms, single and twin
brackets and Porta brackets to reduce draft.
Our
fiberglass hulls are semi-custom meaning every customer gets
exactly the boat they desire. Options are limited only the
customer’s imagination – from simple t-tops to pilothouses
to customized tuna and marling towers and anything in
between. Single, twin or even triple outboards are no
problem. Or diesel if fuel economy and range are what you
need in your fishing boat. Or if you want to customize your
boat for cruising, we can do that too with our express and
superconsole models!
Every
Ocean Master sportfishing boat offers plenty of wet and dry
storage including massive fishboxes. Custom storage
configurations, both insulated and un-insulated, are
available.
Ocean
Master center consoles have long been the favorite of
professional fishing captains, charter boats and tournament
anglers – afterall, it’s hard to be a contender if your boat
is not up to world-class standards. Our vessels are also in
use by commercial towing and rescue operations worldwide.
Even the US Navy has Ocean Master boats in use in one of
their toughest offshore locations!
We are
based in south Florida and have been building semi-custom
boats for over 30 years. The company has remained 100% owned
and operated by its founder, Mark Hauptner, who continues to
oversee every single Ocean Master built. Mark holds 14 world
records and 6 national championships in powerboat
performance racing. Mark is also a member of the American
Powerboat Association "Hall of Champions" and the "Gulf Hall
of Fame." It is fair to say he is one of the pioneer Florida
fishing boat builders and manufacturers.
Ocean
Masters are known for being bullet-proof and that is not an
exaggeration. Consider the hull on the 31, it is hand laid
with 20 layers of solid fiberglass and is over an inch
thick. We’ve even done tests where we actually shot the hull
with a gun and it stopped the bullet dead in its track. When
you put this much solid, hand laid fiberglass in your hull,
it assures durability. When you’re 100 miles from shore,
this is good thing indeed.
Our
customers are some of the most fanatical fishermen and
anglers on the planet – they rely on their Ocean Master boat
when they’re offshore chasing dolphin, marlin, sailfish,
tarpon and sportfish. Our outboard powered center console
boats are particularly popular with this group of customers.
But if
you’re looking for a cruising style, we can also provide
your dream boat. We offer cuddy, walkaround and express
versions of our boats and they can be fully outfitted for
overniting and extended cruising. Our diesel engine models
are a favorite of the cruisers due to their extended range
and improved fuel economy. A diesel powered Ocean Master
Express is a long-range cruising machine, able to reach to
furthest island or remote destination with amenities that
only an express cabin makes possible.

you may want to consider one of our new pilothouse models
that offers increased weather protection over a center
console. A recent delivery of a pilothouse diesel has drawn
excellent reviews from commercial agencies.
