New 336 Center Console Launched

The 336 features full 360-degree fishability, oversized console with stand-up head and plenty of storage. Every Ocean Master is semi-custom and built for a particular owner. This allows customers to choose from a vast array of options and have the boat set-up and rigged to their exact specifications.

According to Mark Hauptner, President of Ocean Master, the new boat was designed for experienced offshore anglers. “The typical Ocean Master owner has been boating for 25 years and has owned 6 boats. They know what works and what doesn’t. And that’s what we build – rugged and dependable boats that can stand up to the worst conditions.”

For those who seek all-weather protection, the 336 is also available as the 336 Sport Cabin. This model features a fully-enclosed cabin for additional comfort and protection from the elements with heat and air conditioning.

The first 336 center console was delivered to a professional captain who runs it as a tender to a large charter yacht. After the first extended voyage the captain was elated with the boat’s performance. “The new boat is running Mack Daddy, 57-mph in 3 to 5 foot seas. Nobody could touch us when we were out there."

Customers can choose outboard or diesel power depending on their requirements. Standard outboard fuel capacity is 310-gallons which provides plenty of range for fishing or extended cruising.

Ocean Master boats are heavily constructed and have a reputation for being ruggedly overbuilt. The 336 hull is 100% hand-laid solid fiberglass. The stringer system is equally tough and features massive, full height, all fiberglass stringers that are fully built into the hull. Top quality vinylester resins and NPG gelcoats further enhance durability.

Ocean Master boats are a mainstay of professional charter fishing operations including world renowned fishing lodges Pesca Panama, Golfito Sailfish Rancho and many others around the world. Even the Navy has five Ocean Masters stationed in one of their most isolated bases in the Indian Ocean. These boats have been run day in and day out in some of the roughest sea conditions imaginable and have each surpassed 300,000 miles of use. That's the equivalent of 12 times around the globe.

Base price with twin 300-hp outboards is $170,000.
